New Hampshire Coastal Adaptation Workgroup
Associated People Chris Feurt
The Coastal Training Program is looking forward to attending our neighboring Reserve’s collaborative effort: New Hampshire Coastal Adaptation Workgroup (NH CAW).
Great Bay NERR is one of 16 collaborators in NH CAW, which helps communities in New Hampshire's coastal watershed prepare for dealing with the effects of unusual and extreme weather events and other effects of long term climate change. NH CAW provides communities with education, facilitation and technical guidance.
The workshop we’ll be attending March 29th — Water, Weather, Climate, and Community: Where’s Your Weakness? — is the second in a series of community conversations about climate and community preparedness for severe weather events.
Interested in attending with us? No need to have gone to the first one! The workshop is designed for coastal community volunteer boards, committees, and municipal staff members interested in land use, infrastructure, emergency management and planning. Community organization, business owners and residents are also welcome!
We hope to see you there!
