Researchers attend Oceans Past conference

Research Director Dr. Michele Dionne and Post-Doctoral Research Fellow Dr. Jennifer Dijkstra have just participated in Oceans Past II, an international conference presenting multidisciplinary perspectives on the history and future of marine animal populations.
Michele spoke on "Habitat restoration to recover resident, transient and anadromous fish populations in Gulf of Maine coastal watersheds" while Jenn presented a poster on "Regime shifts in a subtidal community from 1979 to 2006."
Michele said:
Our attendance should fuel new collaborations and directions for future research in the realm of historical ecology of Gulf of Maine estuaries and coastal watersheds.
