The Wells Reserve Coastal Training Program helps people act collaboratively to sustain the coastal resources of the Gulf of Maine based upon knowledge of the value of those resources and the impacts of their actions on what they value.
Services Provided by the Coastal Training Program
The Coastal Training Program (CTP) of the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve provides science-based training, technical assistance, GIS services, and strategic conservation planning for organizations, government agencies and community groups working to build sustainable and resilient communities. Program services include training design, meeting facilitation, watershed planning, identification and implementation of best practices for water quality and habitat protection, and design of stakeholder engagement pocesses.
