Not Your Ordinary Day Camp

The type of child who will benefit most from Junior Researchers is one who loves hands-on exploration of nature, enjoys learning new things, and is not afraid to get their hands dirty.

We provide an opportunity for each student to explore their personal learning style while using a variety of research equipment and methods. Activities take place both indoors and outdoors.

Students keep a journal, record data while in the field, and give a class presentation on a research topic or ecological concept.

Although we do play games, hike, and have a lot of fun, this is primarily an educational program.

Taking Part

Junior Researchers has sessions in July and August. Enrollment is limited.
