SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR WELLS RESERVE KIDS' PROGRAMS

WELLS, MAINE --- Two popular children's education programs at the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve are within the reach of families on a budget, thanks to scholarships made available by a generous donor to Laudholm Trust, the Wells Reserve's close partner.

Junior Researchers day camps, for kids ages 9 to 13, and Just For Kids half-day programs, for kids ages 6 to 9, give children a chance to learn about coastal environments through hands-on experiences, crafts, and other activities.

The Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve is located at 342 Laudholm Farm Road, just off Routes 1 and 9 near the Wells-Kennebunk line. The Wells Reserve at Laudholm Farm investigates coastal environments and increases understanding of their ecology.
