FAMILY FUN DAY AT WELLS RESERVE FEBRUARY 3

WELLS, MAINE - The Wells Reserve hosts its fifth annual Winter Family Fun Day on Saturday, February 3, from 11 am to 3 pm. With or without snow, we will have games, stories, crafts, and activities for all ages. The suggested donation is just $5 per family.

You can make a bird feeder, casts of animal tracks, a wildlife and winter tree identification guide, and a variety of snowflakes and snowman crafts. Join a family scavenger hunt. Discover how animals keep warm in winter and how to recognize their tracks.

If we have enough snow, build snow sculptures, play snow games, and go sledding (please bring your own sled). You can also bring snowshoes or cross-country skis to explore our 7 miles of trails. Please dress warmly.

Classes and walks have limited space. Please make reservations when signing in. A limited supply of snowshoes are available to borrow thanks to Sea Road School. The class on animal tracking is offered by staff from White Pines Programs.

We will have free hot drinks for those who bring or buy a mug.
