The program is part of the Wells Reserve's informal Lunch 'n' Learn series. Bring a bag lunch and a mug for free organic coffee or tea. Reservations are requested at (207) 646-1555. The Wells Reserve continually collects water quality and weather data as part of the national System Wide Monitoring Program (SWMP). Jeremy Miller, the reserve's SWMP technician, will describe what types of information are collected, the equipment used, and the systems in place to ensure data accuracy and availability. For years, the reserve has gone beyond monitoring water by working in communities to protect and improve water quality and supply. As part of this effort, the Wells Reserve recently launched the Seacoast Watershed Information Manager (SWIM), an online toolkit for people interested in caring for our region's water resources. Tin Smith, the reserve's Stewardship Coordinator, will provide a tour of the SWIM website. This program will help you appreciate the value of clean water to our economy, to our health, and to our recreational enjoyment. And you will know how to access, use, and share information that can lead to healthy and abundant water in our communities. # # #
