WINTER FAMILY FUN DAY AT WELLS RESERVE FEBRUARY 2

WELLS, MAINE - The Wells Reserve hosts its sixth annual Winter Family Fun Day on Saturday, February 2, from 11 am to 3 pm. With or without snow, we will have games, stories, crafts, and activities for all ages. The suggested donation is just $5 per family.

You can make a bird feeder, cast animal tracks, compile a wildlife and winter tree guide, and create a variety of snowflake and snowman crafts. We will have a family scavenger hunt and hands-on activities demonstrating how animals keep warm in winter and how to recognize their signs.

Don't forget to dress warmly. If we have enough snow, you can build snow sculptures, play snow games, and go sledding (bring your own sled). Or bring snowshoes or cross-country skis to explore our 7 miles of trails.

Our two guided walks may be on foot, snowshoe, or cross-country ski, depending on conditions. They have limited space, so please make reservations when signing in. We will have a limited supply of snowshoes available to lend thanks to Sea Road School. Please bring your own skis.

We will supply free hot drinks for those who bring or buy a mug.
