Calendarwells national estuarine research reserve
Marches for Women, for Science, for the Climate - nonviolent protest is always necessary, always good, and always welcome in this free country.
This April 23rd, the Wells Reserve at Laudholm is your host site for a simple Amicable Amble.
While we have no formal programs planned for this day, the grounds, trails, and beach will be open to all who wish to stroll for civility and ramble for rapprochement.
On this Sunday, we will not deliver any speeches, distribute any leaflets, or organize any programs at the Wells Reserve. The place will just be open to all, as it is every day.
Those who wish to quietly walk and talk together, calmly discussing or just contemplating how much we all have in common, while traversing public, common ground, are especially welcome.
The reserve is a place where saltwater and fresh water, past and future, land and sea come together - can these be examples for us all? Perhaps invite someone with whom you've disagreed in the past to join you.
Come take a walk in the woods. For more than 200,000 years, it's been the best cure for stress, disquiet, and tension.
