For centuries we have understood the health benefits of time in nature, but recent research has confirmed the necessity of slowing down and getting outside for maintaining all aspects of our health.  Join Dr. Aline Potvin, ND for an engaging morning session of shinrin-yoku, or Forest Bathing. This is a gentle, guided forest walk that is a sensory immersion into your surroundings.  You will leave with a greater sensation of calm and connection, and an understanding of how to better appreciate the natural world around you when you go out on your own. For all ages and fitness levels, the walk is for a distance of about a mile, lasting about an hour and a half. Bring bug spray, water, adequate clothing layers, and your curiosity and imagination.
