Volunteer Programs

Informative sessions prepare you to teach school groups, lead public programs, join monitoring efforts, or patrol trails. In this training we will prepare for the following program:

Exploring Estuaries

Allow your students to discover the interdependence of between living creatures and their habitats! Trailside exploration stations immerse your students in testing the salinity of water, investigating woodland plants and habitats, observing skins and skulls of local wildlife, discovering a sandy beach, and learning about human impacts on estuaries with an interactive watershed model. Program is for grades 3-7 and lasts 3 hours.
