Winter Dance

Posted by | December 21, 2021 | Filed under: Program Activities

Winter Dance begins with the first snowflake falling upon fox’s nose. This is worrisome because fox isn’t sure how to prepare for winter! Luckily fox has many friends like bear, woolly caterpillar, and turtle to ask for advice. Bundle up and come over for a walk along the Saw-whet and Farley trails this winter to learn how fox and other forest friends make it through the cold, snowy months.

Winter Dance, written by Marion Dane Bauer and illustrated by Richard Jones, can be enjoyed out on the trail until the spring equinox in March 2022.
