How does a non-birder end up on an expedition to see 400 species in 16 days covering a country eight times the size of Maine in a stretch Land Rover with bolted on doors and windows? Come hear Tin Smith share tales from his travels in Africa in 2018.

Tin Smith was the Stewardship Coordinator at the Reserve for 21 years before retiring in 2017. Since then he has continued his interests in forestry, farming and land conservation and mostly stays home except when unusual opportunities arise.
