What if you could have lush healthy lawns, healthy kids, and healthy waters? Come learn about the Lawns to Lobsters movement, and find out how. Our Speaker, Mary Wicklund, will inform you about the Lawns to Lobsters sustainable lawn care practices. These practices are designed to create a healthy, good looking, low maintenance yard. Whether you hire someone to care for your lawn, or do your own yard care, these practices will minimize environmental impacts showing you how to care for your lawn with minimal use of pesticides and fertilizers. Even if you already have sustainable practices, we have a whole bag of good tricks for you to try on your own lawn to make it better. Good for the planet, good for your health, and the health of your pets and children.

Mary Wicklund has been involved in protecting our water resources in Maine for over 25 years through research, outreach, and environmental education.
