Fall is the time to plant this easy and fun to grow vegetable for harvest next summer. Join University of Maine Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Allan Amioka for a hands on garlic growing workshop. We'll review several different types and how to prepare, plant, care for and harvest your garlic. We'll start at the Mather Auditorium and then take a short walk over to the All Seasons Garden to get our hands in the soil to plant. Participants will take home a bulb from this year's harvest to plant in their own garden. This program is part of the All Seasons Garden series brought to the Wells Reserve at Laudholm by York County Master Gardener Volunteers. There is no fee for this workshop but a suggested donation of $5 will assist in supporting this program.
