Join us to explore the historic, current, and future threats to Maine’s forests due to invasive insects.  

Tom Schmeelk is an entomologist with the Maine Forest Service. He worked for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation prior to moving to Maine. Originally from the Hudson Valley in New York, Tom received his master’s degree in entomology in 2015 from the University of Illinois.
