Did you know that Maine has hundreds of landslides that have occurred across the state since the end of the last Ice Age? New technology and research by the Maine Geological Survey has shed light on these fascinating features. Learn the basics about one of Maine’s natural hazards, how these events are tied to Maine’s unique geology, and why they should be considered as Maine’s population grows.
