Are you and your kids on the computer too much these days? Are you looking for outdoor nature -focused adventure? If you are a family with K - 5th grade students, please come join us on an autumn adventure!

Milkweed is the home and food of monarch eggs and caterpillars. But when you turn over a leaf you'll find all sorts of wildlife, from milkweed beetles to snails!

We will start out on campus learning about monarchs, migration and other creatures we might find and then head down the trail to our milkweed investigation location!

Our learning adventure will include time on the trail and in the field. Bug and sun protection are highly recommended. In addition, long pants and long sleeves are also very helpful in enjoyment of our outdoor programs.

*These programs are limited to ten participants, so please do keep this limit in mind when deciding on the number of adults in your group (in order to allow for as many kids to join as possible). Thanks!

*Program prices are in addition to admission (non-members $5 adult/$1kids).

Important Covid information: Maximum of ten participants. We will be maintaining safe physical distance throughout the program, but all participants are required to wear a face covering (mouth + nose) throughout the duration of the program. Due to suspended use of indoor spaces, inclement weather may cancel programs. If you are traveling from out of state for this program, please read the latest state regulations before registering.
