About the Presenter
Dr. Linda Stathoplos received her Ph.D. in Oceanography from the Graduate School of Oceanography, University of Rhode Island, in 1989. She worked for NOAA (the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) in Maryland for most of her career. Now retired, she was selected to be part of the American Geophysical Union’s “Voices for Science” Class of 2020-2021, and loves to talk about science topics.
