It's time to start thinking about spring!

Are you in tune with nature? Do you notice when the first warblers return in the spring, or when monarch caterpillars begin to munch on milkweed in late summer or when the first hint of red appears on the trees in autumn?

Join us for the Signs of the Seasons Citizen Science workshop and learn how to easily turn your observations into valuable data used by scientists to document the impacts of climate change.

Signs of the Seasons is a citizen science program that trains volunteers to observe and record phenology (seasonal changes) of plants and animals. Participants will leave with the skills to document observations in their own backyards!

Workshop will be presented by Beth Bisson and Esperanza Stancioff of the Signs of the Seasons: A New England Phenology Program. Signs of the Seasons is a University of Maine Cooperative Extension and Maine Sea Grant program.
