Beginning in the 1640’s, we will explore the rich history of this site, from family home and farmland to National Estuarine Research Reserve. We will tour buildings not open to the public such as the bull barn and garages!

This docent led walk goes into and out of buildings and covers approximately 1/2 mile over 1.5 hours.

The Wells Reserve operates in accordance with orders from the Governor of Maine and instructions from the Maine Center for Disease Control. Reserve leadership will monitor, evaluate, and adapt as needed to ensure all programs operate safely and effectively. *The Wells Reserve requires face coverings to be worn in our public indoor spaces. This tour goes inside our farm buildings. Please bring and wear your face covering when inside these spaces.
