Join us for an afternoon of creativity!
Block printing is a fun and easy way to create unique cards and decorate other paper goods. No experience is required. Participants will leave with their block print, new skills, and a set of their own handmade greeting cards/pieces of art!
All materials will be provided, including a Speedball Speedy Carve block. If you’re fast you can make and take two block prints by using both sides! Inspiration will also be provided; we will have examples of block printing designs that relate to the flora and fauna of Maine, which can be used to hand draw your own versions, or you can create from scratch!
Families with interested and patient kids ages 12+ are most welcome! We will be spaced out within the auditorium. Masks required. $12M/$16NM.
The Wells Reserve operates in accordance with orders from the Governor of Maine and instructions from the Maine Center for Disease Control. Reserve leadership will monitor, evaluate, and adapt as needed to ensure all programs operate safely and effectively. Please have a mask on hand if you are not vaccinated and/or feel safer being masked in a group setting. Note - masks are required in Wells Reserve indoor spaces.
