Join Marcia Cooper from Green Newton to learn about this non-profit organization’s initiatives and programs working with city government, schools, and businesses towards energy conservation and environmental protection. Marcia will also speak about Green Newton’s advocacy for sustainable solutions in the Newton, MA community, including the “Take Action” web page.

About the Presenter 

For over 14 years, Marcia Cooper has been the President of Green Newton, an environmental nonprofit organization in Newton MA.  Under her leadership the group has worked closely with elected officials, city staff, business leaders, residents, schools and partner groups to make steady progress for meeting the environmental sustainability goals that are spelled out in Newton's Climate Action Plan.
