Come discover the secret world of plankton! We’ll collect it, observe it and build it! Fondly known as ‘whale food’, plankton are (mostly) microscopic plants and animals that feed our oceans and help keep us alive! We will take a short walk down to our floating dock to collect a sample and bring it back to the lab to observe on the big screen. A variety of other activities will follow including a build your own plankton competition. Families encouraged! Ages 8 and up.
