Docent Training: Microscopic Marvels - Plankton Lab

Everything is connected! Come share this important message with 6 – 12^th grade students in our Microscopic Marvels program. Through hands-on investigation of water quality and plankton, students discover the interactions between the living and non-living factors that make up a healthy estuary ecosystem. Students spend time out on the research marsh and in the teaching lab. 

This session is 2 of 2 for the Microscopic Marvels program and will include training on how to teach a plankton lab for students! 

Program Specifics: Grades 6 – 12^th, Duration 3 hours, Group Size 15 student maximum  

New docents welcome!

Training will take place mostly indoors in the teaching lab.

Snacks will be provided. Please bring a water bottle.

Meet in the Teaching Lab in the Maine Coastal Ecology Center.
