Winter snowshoe

Invite winter wellness with a tranquil trek through the snowy trails and a gentle yoga practice. During the long winter months, our bodies ask us to go in, slow down, and wait out the cold. While this is important, if we live in rhythm with the seasons, spending time in the natural world and embracing the stillness, we may find it possible to align more fully with nature. During the snowshoe, we'll use our senses and be mindful and quiet, connecting with our surroundings and each other through shared experience and intentional movement. Then we'll come inside and share our thoughts over tea before enjoying a relaxing and restorative yoga practice to warm up and connect back in. This workshop is designed for all levels of snowshoeing and yoga experience ages 16 and up. Please plan to bring your own snowshoes, appropriate outdoor gear, and yoga mat. Some props and rental mats will be provided. If you do not have snowshoes, please contact us to reserve a pair of ours. This event is weather dependent, so if there is no snow, we will take a mindful hike. This event is limited to 20 participants, so please register in advance.
