Laudholm Loppet
What’s a Loppet?
Traditionally, a løpet is a long cross-country ski race, a test of endurance, and a reverent nod to the grueling journey of Sweden’s first king Gustav Vasa as he fled Danish imprisonment.

What’s the Laudholm Loppet?
This is a gentler loppet, but with a nod to our own history. Ski, snowshoe, or hike the same amount in kilometers as years since the Wells Reserve’s dedication (1986) between the first snow and the last remnant. Log your distances (to 0.1 km) on a printed logsheet or submit them through our online logbook.

The All Trails Challenge
Once a year, toward the end of the Laudholm Loppet, participants are encouraged to touch a section of every trail at the reserve in one day. Follow our course or make up your own route. Check our calendar for the date.
The All Trails Challenge is a good time to turn in your completed Laudholm Loppet Logsheet(s) and collect your reward.
