Close Finish in 9th Annual Reserve Cup

Posted by | October 29, 2013

The ninth annual Reserve Cup was October 24, a bright day with a brisk breeze and a temperature decidedly cooler than the 2012 event. Despite several golfers needing knit hats or winter coats, attendance remained strong for this good-natured competition among staff and volunteers. For most, it's their sole golf outing of the year and they don't like to miss it.

Jeremy regained his familiar top spot with a 37, while newcomer Nik just missed matching him. Last year's top finisher, June, added a few strokes this time around, putting her in the crowded company scoring in the low to mid 40s.

The banquet and awards ceremony may have been just a bit shorter this year, as we were hurried along by sundown's deepening chill.
