Returning tidal flow to southern Maine salt marshes

For centuries, salt marshes have been drained, filled, diked, and otherwise altered. In many places, the changes are permanent. But where it is possible to restore marshes to functioning tidal ecosystems, we work with partners to encourage their recovery.
